Today, I’d like to talk about how to get into the zone, that state of inner confidence and flow. It’s been estimated that only five percent of pitches are properly rehearsed but what we know is if you do rehearse you increase your chances of success by about 45 percent. One of my hobbies is amateur Dramatics but the time commitment is huge, so in a typical play you’re probably talking about 60 hours of rehearsal over three months but that’s what it takes to get everybody performing at the top of their game, confidently in the zone. If you’d like to do the same for your next pitch, you’ve got to take rehearsal seriously, so block out two or three rehearsals and commit to them and see what a difference it makes
